GCSE Physics Success

Practical Mastery Questions on "Required Practicals" account for at least 15% of your marks. Our guides break down every experiment—from Specific Heat Capacity to I-V Characteristics—covering method, variables, and safety.

Triple vs Combined Our resources are strictly categorized. If you study Combined Science (Trilogy), you won't be distracted by "Space Physics" or "Lenses" content, which is exclusive to the Triple award.

Exam Strategy

  • 1
Memorize the Units. Calculation marks are often lost for missing or incorrect units (e.g., J/kg°C).
  • 2
Use our Equation Flashcards. While some are given, you must know how to rearrange them quickly.
  • 3
Practice 6-Mark Questions. These extended response questions often focus on practical methods or comparing energy resources.

GCSE Physics FAQs

Do I get an equation sheet?

For the 2025/2026 exams, exam boards (AQA, Edexcel, OCR) have confirmed providing an equation sheet. However, you must still know how to select and rearrange the correct formula.

Do you cover Space Physics?

Yes, but only for Separate (Triple) Science students. It is clearly marked in the "Topics" section so Combined Science students can skip it.

Are practicals included in the exam?

Yes. Approximately 15% of the total marks are based on your understanding of the required practical activities. We provide specific revision guides for these.
